On September 12th, a beautiful fall day, 15 residents met in the lobby of Amherst House. Over coffee and doughnuts we introduced ourselves then set out to walk the boundary of the village center and discuss what we saw and wanted to see in the future. This event kicked off the development of a KC Village Center Community Plan. Once completed, this plan will be filed with Howard County and any developer wanting to change our village center zoning will need to address our community plan. Call Village Manager, Anne Brinker, for additional information.

The village board will appoint the Kings Contrivance Village Center Community Plan committee at their December 7th meeting. If you are interested in serving,
