Update Your Certificate of Compliance
Every home in Columbia was issued a Certificate of Compliance by the developer, HRD, upon building completion. In order to ensure that the property remains in compliance with the covenants, an update to this certificate, or letter of compliance, will be issued upon request for any property in the village. This letter of compliance is your guarantee that the property you are about to buy or sell is in compliance with the covenants. It is your right to expect this letter when you buy a home in Columbia, and it is your responsibility to see that your buyer purchases a home free of violations. Print out a request for a letter of compliance and mail or bring it to Amherst House. You can also fax a request to (410)381-9628, call the village office at (410)381-9600, or email Laura Parrish at kccovenants@columbiavillages.org and ask for a letter of compliance.
